| Hi! My name is Allen Ray Mickle Jr. I am 20 years old and attend Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary in Detroit, Michigan. I am in my first year of a Master of Divinity degree. If you want to know anything else you'll have to ask! I just wanted to take some time here to let you know something important. I am one of those born again Christians. I just wanted to let you know about one of the greatest things in the world. The fact that God's son, Christ, came down to earth in the form of a child and was born to the virgin Mary. He grew up and began a ministry amongst the people of Israel almost 2000 years ago. He preached repentance and the kingdom of Heaven. He then was arrested and crucified on a cross. He died and then rose to life again 3 days later and then ascended into Heaven where he intercedes in behalf of us to the Father. He said in the Bible that all we need to do is believe that he died on the cross to forgive us our sins and confess with our mouth he is Lord and that we are sinners that we shall have eternal life in Heaven! I have all sorts of awsome friends and family. I live with my mom and dad in Amherstburg, Ontario. My dad's name is Allen and he is a full-time line worker at Ford Motor Company in Windsor, Ontario, He works in the core room at Windsor Aluminum Plant and makes the engine blocks for the fancy cars like Jaguars and the such. As well he is in his second year of his Master's of Divinity degree at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. He hopes to be a pastor when he retires from Ford. My mom is Cynthia and she was a labour and delivery nurse who worked at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, before she was injured at work. She has painful physical problems now, please pray for her. My one sister's name is Jacqueline and she is 19 and is in her second year at the University of Windsor in the Classical Civilization program. Her goal is to be a missionary teacher and my other sister's name is Rebecca and she is 7 and is in grade three at Malden Central Public School. I have so many awsome friends that there are too many to list here. So I am sorry to all but you know who you are anyway! Well my hobbies include, in no particular order, reading, working on computers, programming, fishing, playing tennis, playing computer games, studying my Bible (of course), playing guitar, singing and hanging out with all my awsome friends!! My plans are to finish my Master of Divinity degree and then my Master of Theology degree and then look into full-time youth pastor work and do my Doctorate of Theology part-time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| MY RECENT TRIP TO VENEZUELA! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

On my reading week (the last week of February, of this year), I went on a 10 day mission trip to Caracas, Venezuela. Wow what a trip! I went with Christian Network Ministries, out of Kitchener, Ontarion (www.cnm.ca). It was a work trip which means we spent long days working on a building. But not any building! It is a youth centre/missionaries home/national YFC Venezuela office. Wow! We helped out Youth For Christ National Missionaries, Georden and Marilyn Rendle get their building up to snuff so that they could better minister to the young people of Venezuela. Also we did puppets and clowns and dramas for local kids and teens so we could teach them the Word of God. Pray for the work being done to bring the Venezuelan's to Christ!
